Could’ve been a decent book, but it was poorly written, new characters constantly, felt like a jumbled mess, story line was constantly changing and difficult to follow, hard to be drawn in and follow or care about anyone in story because a new person and side story was always appearing. Makes me angry I paid for it. Who writes like that? Unenjoyable to say the least. Quit 1/3 in. No thank you. I can count the times I have been moved to negatively review a book. It's never happened. This book is about a sexual sadist and the lack of character development makes this book feel like watching a train wreck. It's the equivalent of the movie Saw. Don't waste your time. I have liked other books by Gregg Olsen, but this book left me feeling dirty and angry that I wasted the time to read it.
